This is the 407C housing with the reticle most people end up wanting. Same RMR footprint, same window, but you can run a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both. A lot of shooters leave the circle on while they are learning the draw, then drop to the dot once the presentation is consistent. The ring is easy to find. The dot is the precise center when you want it.
The housing is 7075 aluminum. The CR1632 loads from the side, so a battery swap does not mean unbolting the optic. Solar is the backup. Shake Awake turns it on when you pick the gun up, and Lock Mode keeps a holster from bumping the buttons.
The window is about 0.91 × 0.63 in. Weight is about 1.5 oz, length about 1.78 in. It mounts straight onto an RMR-cut slide. An optics-ready gun still needs the RMR plate made for that gun.
The emitter is open. The circle does not cover the LED, so rain and pocket lint still land on the glass the same way they do on a 407C. If you want the emitter sealed on a compact or full-size slide, look at the EPS. That box includes an RMR plate.
